This nice looking electric space heater is extremely quiet and highly effective at heating one large room with the doors shut. No electric space heater can do better than that, and I think this may addresses low star reviews’ complaints about it not heating a room — perhaps they are trying to heat an entire house? A space heater in a room with doorways open to many other rooms quickly becomes ineffective, no matter what model you choose.

This unit appears to be entirley silent, and unit puts out very effective heat without the noise. The feature that appeals to me the most is that this is an extremely nice looking space heater. The faux burning logs are particularly well done. The flames are nice, too. My husband (who examined both models carefully) says that the smaller model’s flames look better, and this model’s logs look better.

The heat comes out close to the floor, but pointed toward the front of the unit. We tested this heater with paper on the floor underneath, and the paper did not get unduly warm. So it seems safe enough.
